Autonomous support agent for engineering teams

The Productlane Agent answers from your help center and your product data, files what it cannot answer in Linear, and tells the customer once it ships.

Get started

Free yourself from the routine

The same questions arrive every week. Bug reports are still getting written up by hand. The Productlane agent frees you from both, so you can help customers who really need you.

The agent resolves 65.3% of its conversations

Across 12,499 conversations the agent took part in, 8,160 ended at the agent. The rest reach your team with the draft already written.

A continuous loop between customer and code

  1. 01

    A customer writes to support

An email, a live chat, or a Slack message lands as one thread in your inbox.

  2. 02

The agent answers from your docs

Every reply is grounded in your help center, so the answer matches what you actually shipped.

  3. 03

The rest becomes a Linear issue

The agent files the bug or the request itself, linked back to the customer who raised it.

  4. 04

The issue turns back into code

Triage rules hand it to your coding agent, so a pull request is often open before you reply.

  5. 05

Your code writes the help center

The docs agent reads merged pull requests and closed issues, then drafts the article for review.

back to step one

Deploy the agent to any channel

Leave a channel off and the agent still writes its answer into the thread, where your team reads it, edits a line, then sends it. Turn the channel on once the drafts go out untouched.

Live chat comes on with the agent, so you watch it work on the surface you control before it touches your inbox.

EmailAnswers inbound mail from your own domainLive

Every answer carries its source

The agent prints the article it drew on underneath the reply. The customer can read further, and your team can check the answer in one click.

Your sources decide the answer
It answers from your help center, your changelog, your roadmap, and the systems you connected. A question with no source in reach goes to your team.
A person takes over on request
Ask for a human and the agent puts your team on the thread in that same reply. It does the same when a customer says the answer missed.
It replies in the language they wrote in
It matches the customer and translates your article to do it, so one English help center answers a question written in German.
A cap on how often it speaks
Three replies to one contact in ten minutes, twelve in a day. Automated mailboxes are left alone, so two machines stay out of a loop.

Access control down to the column

You point the agent at a read-only connection, then grant it the exact columns it may query. Every other column stays masked, so a billing answer is drawn from the four fields you shared. The list shows one live row, so you see the governed answer before a customer asks for it.

Frequently asked questions

Your help center, your changelog, and your public roadmap, plus any system you connect: a read-only Postgres query, Stripe, PostHog, GitHub, and Linear. It replies from what a tool call returned, so a question with no source behind it goes to your team instead.

Yes. Leave a channel switched off and the agent writes its answer into the thread as a draft, ready for your team to edit before sending. Switch the channel on once the drafts go out untouched, one channel at a time.

Live chat, email, Slack Connect, Microsoft Teams, your support portal, feature requests, and the API. Each one is its own switch, so the agent can run in your widget while email stays with your team.

It says a person will follow up and puts your team on the thread. When the question turns out to be a missing feature or a bug, it files a Linear issue, links the conversation to it, and replies in the thread once the work ships.

Every reply prints the article it used underneath the answer. The customer can open it to read further, and your team can check the reply against the source in one click.

Three replies to the same contact in ten minutes, and twelve in a day. Automated mailboxes are left alone, so an automatic responder and the agent stay out of a loop.

The one the customer wrote in. It translates your articles to answer, so an English help center serves a question written in German. It switches language when the customer does.
