Connect NinjaOne (NinjaRMM)

Imports managed device inventory (workstations, servers, mobiles) and their compliance data: OS and third-party patches, antivirus status and threats, installed software, device health and BitLocker encryption.

Prerequisites

• NinjaOne account with Administrator role

• URL of your NinjaOne instance

Setup

Step 1 — Identify your instance URL

Step 2 — Create an OAuth2 API application

1. Administration → Apps → API → Client App IDs → Add

2. Type: API Services (machine-to-machine)

3. Grant Types: Client Credentials

4. Permissions: Monitoring ✓

5. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret

Collected data

• devices — NinjaOne managed devices: Identification (device_id, system_name, dns_name, node_class, organization_id, approval_status), State (is_online, last_contact, needs_reboot, last_logged_in_user), System (os_name, os_release_id, os_build_number, os_architecture), Network (ip_addresses, public_ip, mac_addresses), Hardware (system_manufacturer, system_model, serial_number, processor_name, total_physical_memory, is_virtual_machine)

• os_patches — OS patches pending, failed or rejected per device: Patch (kb_number, name, type, severity, status)

• os_patch_installs — OS patch install history per device, to measure patch latency and deployment success: Patch (kb_number, name, type, severity), Outcome (status, installed_at)

• software_patches — Third-party software patches pending, failed or rejected per device: Patch (title, product_identifier, type, impact, status)

• antivirus_status — Antivirus product health per device: Product (product_name, version), Protection (product_state, definition_status)

• antivirus_threats — Threat detections per device: Threat (threat_name, threat_type, category, level), Handling (status, quarantine_id, detection_source)

• installed_software — Software inventory per device: Software (software_name, publisher, version, install_date), Detail (install_location, size_bytes, is_system_component)

• device_health — Health summary per device: Status (health_status, is_offline, pending_reboot_reason), Threats (active_threats_count, quarantined_threats_count), Patches (pending_os_patches_count, failed_os_patches_count, pending_software_patches_count, failed_software_patches_count), Vulnerabilities (critical_vulnerability_count, high_vulnerability_count), NinjaOne products (products_installation_statuses)

• volumes — Storage volumes per device: Volume (name, drive_letter, file_system, capacity, free_space), Encryption (bitlocker_status)
